Your browser pulls the public log and recomputes every link in the chain. If any ballot had been added, removed, or altered, this check would fail.
Try voting twice: the duplicate gets rejected. That's the free anti-fraud doing its job.

Most online poll makers put “anonymous” on the marketing page and keep your IP on the server. We built the verification in.
Your IP is never stored
The raw address is hashed with a secret unique to that poll and thrown away. The same address in another poll yields a different, unlinkable value.

The count recomputes in your browser
Each ballot is hashed with the one before it. Change, drop, or reorder any of them and the published head no longer matches. The check runs on your machine, not ours.
Anti-fraud is free, not a paywall
